Yvonne S. Tripi represents labor unions and municipal clients in contract disputes and labor matters, including state actions as well as mediation, arbitration, and administrative proceedings.  Yvonne is also involved in negotiation and administration of collective bargaining agreements.

Along with her extensive labor practice, Yvonne is a real estate law specialist. Her work includes representation of individuals and business entities in purchases, sales, financing transactions, title examination and residential and commercial leasing transactions. Yvonne further advises clients seeking estate planning and estate administration, and will drafting.

Yvonne has extensive experience advising corporate and municipal clients regarding contract matters, federal and state regulatory compliance matters, and civil litigation defense.

Recently, Yvonne successfully challenged the New York State Teachers’ Retirement System’s denial of a client’s application to purchase retirement service credits for prior services rendered in public employment.  Not only did her challenge lead to a total reversal of the System’s determination for her client it resulted in a total reversal of the System’s long-standing policy and implementation of a new policy that now applies statewide to all similarly-situated public employees.

Yvonne is currently the deputy Village Prosecutor for the Village of Springville and was the Village Prosecutor and Deputy Village Attorney for the Village of Lancaster from 2011 through 2014.
